After a week in August, I feel that the summer has ripped.
八月も、一週間も過ぎれば、もう、夏も熟した感じ。
There is no further growth.
これ以上、成長することはない。
There is no youthful freshness.
若者らしい清々しさは、もうない。
After that, it just fades towards autumn.
あとは、秋に向かって衰えていくだけ。
The end of summer is always like this, relieving and lonely.
ほっとするような寂しいような、夏の終わりはいつもこんな感じ。
Summer in Hokkaido ends like this. Summer in New York ends like this too, but here, autumn is warm. Indian Summer is coming also.

Such a beautiful oasis in the city …I see two Grecian sphinx- like creatures guarding the garden.. traditionally they are there to ask a riddle to travellers to allow them to cross into a city or place. It can be a humorous comment or a challenging question that you have to find the right answer .. I wonder what your riddle might be..

This story has so many riddles and I was scared to read it when I was a kid!
