D.T. Suzuki‘s wife was an American. Then it reminded me that Inazo Nitobe‘s wife was also an American.
I was moved by the book of Nitobe, Bushido (Japanese chivalry). I hope many people read it. And I pick it out again from my bookshelf. Then, it makes me think about The Prince by Machiavelli. So cool. Then my mind never stops to think about these amazing people.
Like D.T. Suzuki, Nitobe also wrote his book in English. Speaking of that Kakuzou Okakura also wrote The Book of Tea in English.
I couldn’t finish reading Okakura’s The Book of Tea. I was frustrated because it was kind of belligerent. I should read it in English the original.
