Welcome back, my FRYE boots!

お帰りなさいませ！私のフライブーツ！

These FRYE boots are my usual boots; They were looking tired. Therefore, I gave them to a Shoe repair shop nearby. Right after that, the city was shut down because of the pandemic, and the cobbler was also closed. I paid the deposit. However, it was no sign to open again. But, I passed by the other day; it was open! I went there and gave him my ticket for the boots. He was surprised but he went to his workshop and bring back my boots. He said he fixed them well and he remembered when he fixed these! with a smile.

普段履きのこれ、くたびれてたんで、修理に出した。それは、パンデミックが始まっていた頃。その後、街はシャットダウンとなり、靴の修繕屋も閉店した。お気に入りのブーツと修理代の前金を払ってるのに、修繕屋が開店する気配もなく。諦めてたんだけど、先日、たまたまその店の前を通ったら開いてるじゃないですか！お店の人に引換券を差し出すと、「うっわ〜！』と言って、奥に探しに行ってくれた。しばらくして戻ってきた店主は「ちゃんと直してあるよー、直した時のことも覚えてるよ。」と、笑顔でした。

I met again for the first time in 6 months with these boots.

６っヶ月ぶりの再会です。

I am delighted to have them again.

とっても嬉しい。

And the cobbler repaired them like brand new! Thank you!

そして、新品みたいになってた！感謝！
