Ah Melville, ‘What is it then to act a part?’
I remember these words from when I was a drama student. I’m not sure if the question is directed at theatre creating an illusion? or more specifically the two ‘temples’ referencing stories based on actual real-life personalities? One in New York, Grace Church official lsaac Brown (being the beadle-faced man) and the English actor playright William Charles Macready’s fated production of Macbeth -which also took place in NY. A complicated narrative for sure.. Good luck! 🌟🌟
I hope I can finish reading it soon—ダン蔵 is waiting to listen to my opinion of the book. But, I want to finish reading Midori Yamamura’s Yayoi Kusama text too. I always have so much homework. Haha!
